VideoTools makes one everyday job easy: your video is too big for the place you want to send it, and you need it to fit. Pick a platform or a size in megabytes, and the tool re-encodes the video to land under that size.

How it is different

• Local. Your video is processed in your browser. It is never uploaded, so there is no waiting for a transfer and no copy of your video on anyone's server.
• Honest. The tool measures the size of the file it makes. If it cannot fit your video under the size you chose, it tells you before you download, and suggests what to change.
• Private. The result carries no location, device or date tags from the original video.
• Plain. No accounts, ads, watermarks or daily limits.
