Source code of GPL and LGPL components
The slower-mode encoder is FFmpeg, x264 and other libraries compiled together into one WebAssembly file, and the AAC encoder contains FFmpeg's AAC encoder. These parts are free software under the GNU General Public License or Lesser General Public License. The complete corresponding source of the exact versions we ship is hosted on this site, under /licenses/source/. The files are downloaded only when you follow a link here; no tool page loads them. A file over 24 MiB is split into 16 MiB parts: download the parts and join them with the command shown, then compare the SHA-256.
